Though I use a HP laptop I do the bulk of my writing at my desk. It’s a corner desk with a hutch top to it that I’ve had for years. I love the shelves and cubbie holes to store all of my writer’s paraphernalia. (I still get excited when I walk through the school supply aisle!) Set up for a desktop computer there is a raised area in the middle for a monitor and the back is open.
Several months ago I asked my husband if it would be difficult to close off the back with cork board so I could tack up notes and stuff that I always have scattered all over my desk. As usual hubby was more than willing to help so I picked out a grey & white speckled board and with a few zips of the screw gun I had a new place for the bits and pieces I collect while working on a book. ANYWAY… the point of this post was that for the first time I decided to print out a visual representation of a muse so I could tack the pictures up in front of me. With a lot of searching I discovered the delicious, Stuart Reardon. This English former rugby player turned male model is a perfect visual representation to what I see in my head when I think of the sexy southern rocker, Beau Steele in my current novel. Nearing the end of the steamy tale I thought I would share my muse with you to see what you think.
Wishing you all inspiration as NaNo season starts! ❤
