As I mentioned in my review of Edward Lorn’s Bay’s End, on unexpected result of releasing my debut novel was a real interest in the debuts of others! I want to share another one of those with you today in Childs’ Proof!
I discovered Neeley Bratcher’s debut novel, Childs’ Proof, while browsing Amazon for just .99. Her hilarious author BIO and a book description that started out like a day from my life made me want to read this book. I am so glad that I did. I LOVED Childs’ Proof! Bratcher’s quirky and honest heroine stole my heart and kept me giggling through out, while the handsome Detective Varner provided plenty of heart and heat!
BOOK DESCRIPTION:
There have been no awards yet, unless you count the bathroom-mirror Oscar she got last night for Best Adapted Screenplay. She does, however, expect to win a Tony for her musical adaptation of the show “America’s Funniest Home Videos.” It’s a series of random musical numbers, mostly 80’s music, and a bunch of old people falling down, some farting babies, and a group of men getting kicked in the cojones.
She anxiously awaits feedback, good or bad, but any bad comments must be submitted on a fine, linen napkin and they have to smell like a very nice cologne.
Honestly, I try to keep things funny and light, with a hint of suspense, and an even bigger hint of some darn good nookie! Please feel free to like me on Facebook as I do not have a website yet.
Happiness is a great gift! If I can spread mine around a bit, then I’ve done my job!
AND IN WRAP UP …
I hope you will give Childs’ Proof a shot and let Neeley, AND ME, know what you think! It’s available on Amazon for .99 in e-book format or Neeley recently released Childs’ Proof in print as well! Pick it up now! She is working on the second book in the series, Childs Abduction. I will be waiting in line!
Peace & Creativity!
